About Us

Hello!! We are the Haunted Ballroom, a medically recognised OSDDID system of 70+*. We are bodily 21 & white, collectively they/them. Our main goal being visible is to just speak openly about our experiences as a system, we do NOT aim to educate or inform about OSDDID as a disorder on a broad scale!
We will not be sharing our trauma. Our online presence serves as a way to express ourselves in a way that isn't safe for us IRL, as well as try to make friends with others who share interests and experiences (as systems). Sharing our trauma leaves us vulnerable, and no amount of DNIs will stop those people who want to take advantage of that from finding us.

* this is an estimated number. most of our alters are hidden for a number of reasons, or do not have identities past us knowing they exist. There are alters that will front and have designated emojis but will not be listed on this carrd. In this case the alter wants to remain anonymous (it could also be that they're new and the carrd hasn't updated yet LMAO)

Tidbits

• Main interests include Hermitcraft, DSMP (we can't fucking get rid of it we have TRIED), alt music, antiques, fashion subcultures, historical fashion, JRWI, and more!
• Our other collective name is "The Tubbo Collective" because we have an unreal amount of Tubbo-sourced introjects.
•We love photography & illustration! Most images you'll see here (except for a few select picrews - Satyr, Bishop, Byte, and the Marzis all have picrew avatars) were taken or drawn by us.
• We are auDHD & probably also chronically ill. Something's definitely wrong we just don't know what.
• We're aro-ace! Maybe! Sort of!
• Charlie 💚 and Jay 🐏 are together. Do not separate them (they get separated often)

• A lot of our posts will contain songs typically associated with "horror ambience" or the like - ie the Caretaker (don't be surprised, we got our name from his work LOL), No Love in the House of Gold, etc. If this bothers you, or if you have a hard time listening to this kind of music, our account is probably not the best place for you! In fact, we post quite a lot of content that is based in what could be generally considered dissociative triggers (our main hosts like them) - liminal spaces, liminal music, the like. This is your warning!!
